【摘要】:Thissafetyspecificationcoversthesafetydesignfeaturesofstationaryexercisebicycles.Thedeviceshallbeassembledinaccordancewiththemanufacturer'sinstructionsforsafeuse.Thisstandardislimitedtoexercisebicyclesof:ClassANon-free-wheelingexercisebicycleswithadirectlydrivenflywheel.ClassBFree-wheelingexercisebicycles.ClassCErgometerbicycles,or,thosebicyclesusedtopreciselymeasurework.ClassDUnitsdesignedtoconvertroadbicyclestostationaryexercisebicycles.Thisspecificationisintendedtoreducethedemonstratedhazardsassociatedwiththeuseofstationaryexercisebicycles.Thisspecificationiswrittentoprovidereasonablesafetystandardsfortheuserofstationaryexercisebicyclesduringstorage,movement,entry,use,andexitfromtheproduct.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
