【摘要】:Anumberoftypesofjawcrushershavebeenusedforlaboratoryabrasiontests,seeRefs(1-5)4andalimitedamountofdatahasbeenpublished(6-10).WithemphasisonthecrusherdescribedinSection6,thistestmethodranksmaterialsandalsoindicatesdifferencesinwearlifeforthattypeofabrasiondefinedasgougingabrasion,asisfoundincrushingequipmentandinmanyminingandearthmovingapplications.Thistestmethodisconsideredusefulforresearchanddevelopmentpurposes,butnottospecifyuniversalwearratios,sincethewearrankingandseverityofwearmaychangedramaticallywithachangeofthecharacteristics(chemistry,shape,angularity,etc.)ofthecrushedmaterialortypeofmachinery.1.1Thistestmethodcoversalaboratoryproceduretodeterminetherelativegougingabrasionresistanceofmaterials.Materialshomogeneousinstructureandpropertiesarethemostappropriatetestmaterials;however,surface-treatedandcompositematerialscanalsobetested.Thetestinvolvesasmalllaboratoryjawcrusherthatcrushespresizedhardrockmaterials,suchasahardmorainalgravel,orsomeothercrushablesubstance.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.(See8.1onSafetyPrecautions.)
